Royal Riviera® Pears

We couldn’t be more excited because our Royal Riviera® Pears are ready and harvest season is in full swing. Our founders, Harry and David, described these pears as "so big and juicy, you eat them with a spoon®." They’re sweet, have a buttery texture, and are incredibly juicy. Picked by hand and carefully packaged, we can’t wait to share the harvest with you.


We’re just wrapping up our pear harvest for 2022, but work for the following year has already begun. Our teams are now in the orchards repairing any damage done during the harvest and are preparing our irrigation system for the winter.



In addition to Royal Riviera® Pears, we are shipping Bartlett pears and Taylor’s gold pears grown in California. Beginning in late September, we will also begin shipping d’Anjou pears grown in Washington.


We are shipping Smitten and Jazz apples grown in New Zealand and Pazazz apples grown in New York. We will also be shipping Smitten grown in Washington and Michigan.


Our Triple Treats include navel oranges from the southern hemisphere. In September, we will begin shipping HoneyBells grown in Peru and in October honey tangerines grown in Chile.

Seasonal Fruits

We are currently shipping plums grown in California and gold kiwis from New Zealand. In October, we will begin shipping persimmons.

Specialty Vegetables

Our featured vegetable this month is kabocha squash grown in California. We’ll also be shipping green tomatoes and shiitake mushrooms grown in California, white asparagus grown in Peru, and avocados grown in Mexico. We are also shipping farm-to-table boxes and are proud to partner with The Chef’s Garden for a selection of sustainably grown, restaurant-quality gourmet vegetables, including petite greens and edible flowers.
