These scones made with Harry & David Old-Fashioned Scone Mix makes this breakfast treat so easy to make, and packed with delicious flavors.

By adding hot water and a touch of cream to the scone mix, this recipe can be made in only a few minutes. The addition of sweet, fresh apricots and chocolate drizzle from melted Milk Chocolate Truffles also add that extra bit of sweetness to these scones that will make everyone come back for more.

Cook these scones in a toaster oven and you now have a new favorite breakfast recipe that is both convenient to make and delicious!

Turkish Apricot Scones

Instructions

  1. Add the hot water to the chopped apricots and let cool.
  2. Prepare the scone mix according to directions on package with the additional 1/3 cup cream and diced apricots.
  3. To cook in toaster oven, divide dough into four balls.
  4. Flatten each ball into approximately 4" circle, leaving a slight dome in the middle.
  5. Cut each circle into 4 wedges. Bake 6 scone wedges at a time in a preheated 425 F toaster oven for 20-25 minutes.
  6. Drizzle with the melted truffles and let cool.
  7. Serve with Harry and David Apricot Peach Premium Preserves.
