Our series “Get Crafty" gives you the inspiration for creating inventive DIY projects during the holidays and year round. Get ready for Thanksgiving with these printable Thanksgiving coloring pages, cards, and place settings. The coloring pages work great for entertaining the kids while you're preparing Thanksgiving dinner. Or spread some holiday cheer by sending a card to a family member.

With the weather getting colder, indoor activities are a must for celebrating the season. One of our favorite ways to get into the holiday spirit is with a little DIY. Thanksgiving crafts, such as coloring pages and color-in greeting cards, can provide entertainment for the whole family. And if you love holiday hosting, the place cards give you something to use to mark special dishes.

You can't always celebrate Thanksgiving with your loved ones in person, so sending a card can help bridge the distance between you. These designs have plenty of space for the kids to color before sending the card to a family member. We've also included a few that can be printed as is, with plenty of space for a heartfelt message inside.

Spending special time with family and friends is probably the most important part of Thanksgiving, but a close second is the food! Between a big roast turkey, classic sides (such as mashed potatoes and stuffing), special family recipes, and a pie or two, you're going to have a lot of dishes out on display. For a bigger party, or for a little added flair, set out place cards to label foods or everyone's spot at the table.

However you celebrate the holidays, it's hard to go wrong with some fun family crafts. Happy Thanksgiving!
