"I brought this cheesecake to my niece's house on Christmas day. It was very dry and crumbly. Not a very good cheesecake at all. Unlike the many things that I have bought from Harry and David over the years."

"I am usually very pleased with H&D products and service and so is everyone I have sent H&D gifts to. So I was very disappointed when I tried the pumpkin cheesecake I ordered for Thanksgiving and found it to be rather dry. Not what I expected. However, this one experience is not typical of the standard I have experienced in the past and will not keep me from ordering from H&D again."

"We were excited to receive this Pumpkin Pie Cheesecake, but when we ate it, we were all disappointed. Generally, we thought the flavor was quite good. But two things disappointed us:
1) It doesn't look like the picture, which shows a nice smooth cream cheese-y layer atop a pumpkin mixture. But instead it was more jumbled up, causing some pieces to be almost all pumpkin-y and others to be almost all cream cheese-y.
2) We expected the cheesecake to be moist and creamy, but it was really quite dry. That was a big disappointment."

"The pumpkin pie cheesecake is the best dessert I've ever served at Thanksgiving. The cheesecake layer is of course delicious, since it's Harry & David's regular cheesecake. The pumpkin pie layer is better than any pumpkin pie I've ever had. And the crust is delicious, too. You can't beat that. Three layers, each one better than the last. Everyone at the table loved it. I also sent one as a gift to a friend. She raved about it too."

"I was disappointed as the cheesecake was just "ok". My family each had a small piece but no one went back for seconds. When I asked them about the cheese cake all I got was "it was OK". Not what you want to hear when you pay a little extra and purchase from Harry & David. I will try again with another cheesecake flavor and hopefully get a better response."

"The consistency of the filling and crust and ingredients were of exceptional quality. The taste of the cheese filling and the crust were great however the pumpkin part was not flavorful enough and there wasn't enough of either to win out in flavor. If I were harry and david i would let it be all pumpkin cheesecake with a bit more spice for flavor, however please do not compromise the consistency. Thankyou for your concidrattion i enjoy your products

"I sent this as a gift. I failed to use the special feature offered during checkout to send a note to the recipient letting them know it was coming. Bad mistake. The recipient didn't see the cheesecake on the front doorstep for 24 hours. We notified customer service of our mistake and they sent another cheesecake to replace it...at no extra charge. I was so impressed. It was our mistake and Harry & David made it right. They are my new FAVORITE place to order gifts!! By the way... I'm told the cheesecake was "WONDERFUL"!"
