"We've given this same kind of fruit basket to these special friends for a number of years. One of the recipients is a retired nurse and appreciates having healthful snacks on hand when family members drop in. The other recipient says he and his wife appreciate getting the gift fairly early, because once the grandchildren arrive, the food disappears. Both recipients endorse the variety of products, the quality of the fresh fruit, and the fact that there is something for everyone."

"We have given Harry and David baskets to friends and family for years. Still, we were so very pleased to receive this basket brim full of healthy tasty treats. Every single item was delicious, not just the famous pears and apples. We were away when the box arrived so we had a friend put it in the refrigerator for us for a week. Everything was still perfect when we came home to enjoy it."

"When having a company send a Christmas gift directly to a family member, I expect that the item is going to be of the highest quality. The pears were apparently excellent. The apples, however, looked fine on the outside, but when cut open, were completely rotten inside. Nice Christmas present, eh?"

"The fruit in the gift basket was nearly ripe when it arrived, and only days later got spungy and soft. Most of the fruit was ultimatly discarded and not eaten. I realize that fruit is perishable, but this fruit is much more costly than supermarket grade similar fruit. This makes the loss of this portion of the basket even more dissapointing."

"I purchased this basket for my uncle's 80th birthday. The delivery was obviously time sensitive. H&D had some issues with shipping however they worked their magic and were able to still get the gift to my uncle on time.
