"Received this as a gift, and what a lovely one it is!
The fruit (pears and apples) is superb... the two types of cheese along with sesame crackers and salted nuts... Perfect!
Everything was so well packed, that even though the fruit is ripe enough to eat right away, nothing was bruised.
Not only that, but the basket itself is a 'keeper." Well-constructed and with convenient little hand-hold inserts on each end. Looks great in the kitchen, holding fruit, dish towels, etc."

"Two of the pears with pink on one side was very good but the green pears did not have any taste. The cheeses were good and the small bag of nuts was good. Disappointed with pear quality since that is a big seller with H & D."

"The picture was not the same as the item delivered. It was not clear that there was a second layer with pears. I opened the basket expecting to see pears and there were only apples. Upon further inspection I found the pears underneath. I think packaging the items in a larger basket where everything is in view would be better. Other than that the items were very tasty...yum yum.
Also, customer service was great because I thought I sent this to one address but it accidently was typed in as the wrong one and Harry & Davids re-sent the item without a problem."

"This was a very good gift, however there was one problem, the pears were too ripe. But upon checking the shipping detail, I found that it sat in UPS"s warehouse in Oklahoma City from Friday until Monday. I did e-mail customer service and a box of pears were shipped out to replace the over-ripe ones. This effort was greatly appreciated."

"I gave this as a gift to a friend for Mother's Day. She called me to tell me she received it and went on and on about the beautiful presentation. A few days later, she called again and started quizzing me as to whether I ever had any of their fruit? I immediately thought something was wrong with it. After some hysterical laughter, she said "No, it's absolutely the best I've ever tasted." I think she will soon become a regular customer!"
