"We have always been happy with H&D purchases.
Which is why this past Christmas was a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT!! & as it was a gift, embarrassing too.
Out of the 3 fruits, only one was edible.

"We have received & sent Harry & David gifts over the years. This is the first time that we were disappointed. The apples were not pretty and lacked flavor. The pears were over ripe. The quality was lacking this year. Obviously, something has changed at Harry & David's."

"I have given this item and received it for at least the last five years and it has always been excellant. But this year one of the apples I received was rotten upon arriving and the oranges were not very tasty. I talked with one of my friends that I had sent this item too and they said thier oranges were not vary flavorful. The pears were ripe upon arrival which was different than the past but however were very good."

"Oranges not as good as usual, and apples not as good as I would have liked. Too tart for my taste, I would like an apple that was sweeter.

"Not a good batch. The apples were fine, the oranges were bitter (also grapefruit). The pears took forever to ripen, then all ripened at the same time."

"My mom and I ordered this item to have on hand for snacking during the Christmas holiday. We'd tried the pears and wanted to sample some of the other fruit so we selected this one. The pears were their normal sweet selves, although I wish there was a way to make the skin a little less fibrous. The apples were good as well. Slightly tangy and crunchy, just like I love ‘em. The oranges on the other hand were less pleasing. The skin was tough and the oranges tasted like a simple syrup with no flavor. I would order the apples again and we've already ordered more pears."

"The triple treat is my favorite of all the fruit gifts. I send it to my best friend every year around New Year's for her birthday. She loves this trio. There have been a few bad apples along the way but Harry and David is always good about replacing them. This is a wonderful gift for anyone."
