"I had extremely high hopes that this package would "wow" my sweetheart who could not be home with me for Easter. Instead, it was simply OK. He thanked me for it but was about as excited as an Easter dinner from Kentucky Fried Chicken. This really made me sad because I had high hopes for this package. He had really enjoyed other desserts that I'd sent him from H&D in the past. I think that I've learned a very expensive lesson about an average meal..."

"Everyone was excited to receive the big box full of treats but the pears were not good. They were rotten inside. So I had to contact everyone to make sure theirs were good as it was an expensive assortment.
It is wasting a lot of time contacting everyone and then contacting harry and david. who are willing to send new pears but I sure hope they are good. I am still waiting to hear from 3 of the recipients so this will drag on for awhile. After 40 years of orders with Harry and David I tried a new company and have found the recipients loved their product. This has been a family tradition for many years but it seems like the quality the last few years is not what it used to be. It is sad to stop the tradition but Im not sure I would order from them again."

"I have purchased your fruit since the 1980's and have always been impressed with it. However, when I sent this holiday package the pears arrived bruised and the pears skin was patchy with brown discoloration everywhere. The rest of the package was fine. Given that this was an expensive gift basket I expected the fruit to be top notch, but the quality of the pears was below that of the 2nd's I often have purchased in the past."

"I sent this Ham Buffet to an old friend and his companion because the usual basket I'd sent in the past was no longer available. He called to tell me that he thought that H&D made a mistake in that they'd received gifts that must have been intended for several other recipients because there were so many items in the box. They said the ham was excellent, although it was one of the smaller items. They were very impressed with the number of items received and enjoyed trying everything out.
The one thing I do note is that I paid more than 1/3 less than the price now listed for this basket. I don't know that I'd pay that much more for it, but I'm pleased that my friends were so impressed."

"We really loved this basket but we only bought it because our first choice was out of stock. To be honest I was disappointed with the amount of food we got for the price. Everything was much smaller than it looked. The ham and cheesecake were especially small, but as always the quality of the food in the basket was wonderful."

"This gift basket was sent as a Wedding gift. If you order, please allow time for delivery on the date you want. That was the only problem I had and the company customer service department was terrific in assisting me. They used all the items in serving their guests and they all loved it. They were very impressed with all the items in the basket - even the basket itself was used later. I would recommend it to anyone for any occasion"

"My husband and I received this from an obviously very generous friend. I have never been to this site before and simply came to find a sympathy gift to another friend and a wedding gift for a hard to gift relative and stumbled upon my own gift basket.
