"Got this tower as a present from my brother. Didn't know much about Harry and David until this week. I was very impressed. The pears are the best I've probably ever had. I liked the variety. "The picture make this gift look much bigger than it really is. As per another reviewer -- it's really just a bunch of small sampler boxes with a few pieces of fruit and a handsized piece of salmon. It is a nice gift - but really more appropriate for a single person not a family...

"I sent this gift to an out-of-town aunt. A family member was there when it arrived & opened; she reported back to me: a big box containing a bunch of small boxes ... each small box only contained a meager portion; there were only 2 pears; the smoked salmon portion was ridiculously small; my family member was embarrassed for me. The bottom line is that the gift looked cheap (those of you who purchased it know otherwise). My family member recommended only sending fruit selections in the future ... stay with what Harry & David do best."

"I love giving this gift to my 91 year old grandma. The fruit is so fresh she can eat it right away. The boxes are really fun for her to open. "I really thought I did not like pears until I tried the Riviera pears in the gift tower, they were wonderful. And the Raspberry-filled Galettes are my new favorite cookie.
