"Rest assured, Harry and David gifts are always greatly appreciated and are always in great shape and excellently presented and absolutely the best tasting of any food products out there. The only problem is the cost, it's a problem in these hard economic hard times and I'm sure the economy is hurtingy you too. "I enjoy a variety of items and Harry and David always do this well. It is nice to have a few chocolates, or a small bag of Moose Munch, nuts, or cookies rather than a whole tin of them. I like the variety and there is just enough for my husband and me to share. I also send this kind of treat to family and friends for Christmas. I spend a few minutes choosing the gifts and within a half hour or so, I am done with Christmas shopping! Thanks, Harry and David!"

"It was a hit with everyone at the Christmas gathering at my Aunt's house. Wish I could have been there to share good fun and good food. My Aunt commented how fresh and inviting everything was, as well as the variety allowed everyone to choose their favorite treat. She was happy that a pear was left for her for later enjoyment."

"I bought this for a friend for a holiday gift. She loved it!
She called me up the thank me and said it was wrapped up so pretty she was reluctant to open it. She enjoyed opening each of the boxes in the tower, but said her very favorite were the Royal Riviera pears. I would definately order this gift again!"

"In addition to receiving this Tower of Treats as a gift this year I also purchased two boxes of pears myself. I was quite disappointed in this years crop of pears. A Harry and David pear is usually the very epitome of what a pear should be. That was not the case this year. I'll likely try again next year but will revert to the local market if there isn't an improvement."

"I sent this to my mother and mother in law for christmas. They were both excited to receive it, but disappointed with the pears. They were small and bruised. My mother couldn't eat hers because they had spoiled before they ripened. I know this is a fresh product and some bad fruit may be expected. Unfortunately, I won't be shipping these gifts to anyone else I know. How embarrassing. (And, a sort of waste of money, if you ask me.)
I think the rest of the gift was okay, hence the 2 stars."

"My daughter-in-law gave me this for Christmas and I was very disappointed. The pears were tiny and flavorless. When I received them, they were soft and obviously ready to be eaten, but tasted 'watery'. The comice pears I've purchased in our local supermarket were far superior. Also, two of my relatives received just the pears, with the same results."
