"My son calls me the Best Mom Ever because every couple of months I surprise him at college by sending him a box of the Royal Riviera Pears. He knows that when they are ripe and ready, they are the sweetest, juiciest pears you will ever taste. They are so juicy, they literally drip juice when you are eating them. They have also become a favorite addition to brunch at Christmas and Easter. I simply peel and core them, cut them in half, and fill the hollowed out center with a dollop of room temp honey nut cream cheese or whipped cream and sprinkle with nutmeg and/or cinnamon. Sinfully good!!!"

"I received what I thought were these pears as a get well gift from my aunt and uncle. The pears I had received were so delicious, I had to order another box for us right away and ordered these thinking they were the same ones. They were not - but - they were even better!!! These hands down are the best pears I have ever had and I have historically paid extra for a "good" pear and been denied. Not so with this experience, I can't wait for the next box to arrive and will send them as a gift as well - what a joy it was to receive!! Well worth the money."

"My dad was Diabetic, so I grew up waiting anxiously for the Harry & David boxes to start arriving at the holidays. Throughout my entire adult life, I've relied on Harry & David for bread & butter gifts, thank-yous, apologies, sympathies and congratulations of every sort. I have never, not once, gotten anything but rave reviews from the recipients.
