"I was concerned that following the recent freezes, the pears would be freeze-burned - so, I asked the customer service agent if any of the pears had been affected and was assured they had not. Unfortunately, that wasn't true. All the pears arrived with black marks on the skin. Overall, the flavor was still very good, but they were very unsightly, which made them less than ideal for company."
