"My friends received the Salmon as a gift from me at Christmas time. They called me and let me know that it was the tastiest smoked salmon they had had in years!. I was quite happy about what they said that I am thinking of getting some more for other friends as well as myself!. Thanks for a great gift for my friends."

"the smoked salmon was good, but being raised in AK, the salmon just tasted different then what I remembered as a child..It was more smoky & more dry back then......altho it was good, I had memories of it being better.."

"I've always liked northwest smoked salmon but usually made a spread of it with cream cheese because it's so dry. Not Harry & David's! It's wonderfully moist - incredible in scrambled eggs, marvelous on a bagel. What a terrific gift."

"My husband grew up in a coastal area & is very picky about sea-food & says that this salmon is GREAT- the bet salmon he has had. EVERYBODY at work loves it. Small samples come in various gift box packs at Harry & David. Unopened packages last a LONG time without refrigeration- though they do not last at my house."

"I sent this as a thank you gift to my sister and her family after she came to help me while I was recovering from surgery. I wanted a gift for the whole family, since it affected them all to have their wife and mother gone a whole week. I figured they would all like the salmon, but I was pleasantly surprised when my sister RAVED about how great it was. I wish I could remember some of the comments. Suffice it to say, this gift was a HIT!"

"The salmon we recieved in the mail did not come with the rest of the order, consequently we had no idea who had sent it. When we opened it it seems to be bad. The skin is still on it which is difficult to get off and a nuisance to remove before serving. I will be taking it back to our local store to see if the product is indeed bad or not. This is very disappointing considering the baskets and products we have recieved and given in the past have been very high quality items. This year, everything we have purchased and recieved have all been of very low qulaity."

"Wonderful Salmon.
Light smoke flavor that doesn't leave an aftertaste.Firm texture,the layers separate easily without falling apart.Looks exactly as pictured.Very rich flavor.Can be eaten alone but I served mine with assorted types of cheese slices and cubes.Everyone agreed it was as close to perfect as you could probably get for smoked salmon."

"I first recieved the smoked Northwest Salmon as a Christmas gift and have continued to recieve it as such in the ensuing years, but I have to admit, I've become addicted to this product!
After the first couple of years, I tried to find a locally distributed product that equalled its quality and flavor, but couldn't. That's when I started ordering directly from H&D and have been VERY satisfied ever since.
I now order it several times a year (selfish me!) and look forward in anguish until it arrives! Can't wait to savor the most perfect smoked salmon I've ever tasted!
Don't be fooled that there's a better smoked salmon out there...I can truly attest that there ISN'T!
If you love smoked salmon, you'll become a regular customer too...guaranteed!
