"The Serve & Savor Slow-Smoked Ham I got for Thanksgiving Dinner was the hit of the day for everyone. Not only was it tender and savory as promised, it was absolutely delicious. It disappeared before any of the leftovers, and nothing went to waste. We even used the bone in a soup, and that was fantastic. I'd recommend this to anyone who wants to make their dining event that much more special."

"This is the second time ordering. Sent this ham to my parents in November as a gift my mom who is not fond of ham said it was very tasty and easy to prepare. Everyone loved it so much that there was no leftovers. She asked me to order another one it was so good. I know I will be ordering 2 more soon. One for me and another for mom."

"Ordered this ham a few days before Christmas as it was guaranteed to be delivered in time. Arrived when promised. Only rated it "good" since there was a lot more fat on the ham than I antcipated. Also, the sauce packet didn't provide much flavor."

"We thought the delivery schedule was very accurate.Good instruction on the package, however, we felt the ham was basically dry. good flavor, but dry consistency. I do not plan to order another one"

"I have been getting Harry and David spiral hams for holiday dinners for 3 years now and simply would not purchase any other. The meat is tender, very flavorful, and falls right off the bone - so easy to serve! I later use the meaty bone to make split pea soup, which is a family favorite. Harry and David provides a wonderful glaze package for the ham which amps up the flavor. Guests consistently tell me it is the best ham they ever had. I buy the spiral sliced ham and I would say it comfortably serves 12-14, with leftovers (a must for sandwich lovers!), but I also serve other foods with the ham. Try it and judge for yourself."

"After an excellent experience with a H&D ham on Thanksgiving, we tried again at Christmas. Following the heating instructions , using the same oven as on Thanksgiving, the Christmas ham was awful. The meat was dry, crumbly in the mouth, without the usual ham meat texture. It looked appealing, but appeared dry and overcooked. No one asked for seconds, and many did not finish their portion. We complained bitterly to H&D and we were sent another. This third ham again was heated according to the instructions and it, too, was dry and crumbly, severely overcooked, losing the usual and expected ham texture of meat. Though we appreciate the gesture of providing a replacement ham after our first bad experience, the two bad experiences out of three means we will not again order a H&D ham."

"At these prices I always expect STELLAR. Good or average is unacceptable when I pay a premium. The Ham gets 4 stars because I felt for the price I would pay for a Ham at another premium place I usually enjoy for Christmas it was about equal. It was a little dryer than I had hoped but I am guessing that is due to being refrigerated for a few days before I could cook it for Christmas dinner. Had I been able to heat it on the day I received it, maybe it would have been better. For the price it was right. It didn't excel my expectation but met therm. Will I do it again? Possibly."
