Great gift for the elderly,

"Years ago my dear aunt was wondering how she would make friends when she moved to the assisted living facility. She shares her fruit and became known as the fruit girl! It really broke the ice. Even though meals are mostly provided the fruit club has been the best gift ever. Shopping is very difficult for a challenged senior especially in the snow or taking a bus with a group, etc. You can imagine how welcome this gift is and how much it raises the quality of life. Plus they get to brag each month. It makes someone feel loved and does not clutter up their house. Best that it adds to their health and not the waistline."

"the fruit is ok but the shipments or sometimes late or miss a month. The worst part is that they substitaut the fruit many time a year and you don't get ;lthe fruit you pay for."

"My family starting getting Harry and David Fruit of the Month years ago. Now that I am an adult, I continue the tradition whenever I can. The fruit is superb and the customer service is great! When my father went to Florida for a few months, they were able to send the fruit there. One year, the selection I ordered did not include the cherries. I will not make that mistake again for that recipient!"

"I have to say that this is the third year in a row that I am purchasing this for my sisters' family as their Christmas Gift. They are a family that "has everything", and they love fruit... Its the gift that gives all year long! I aske them every year if they would like me to continue this and they heartily agree!"
