"I sent these chocolates to my mom who never wants nor needs anything. She likes to eat the treats that I do send her for special occaisions, but she begs me not to send them!! So, I chose this little box of chocolates--which she LOVES chocolate. And, it was a small amount, so PERFECT! She received the gift and has been LOVING it! It was packed with ice, but the ice packs were all melted by the time she got it (May in NM on a HOT day she said and she gets her UPS deliveries LATE in the day, so all day it had been on the hot truck), but the candies were soft and divine--not melted. Sounded PERFECT to me!!!!! So, this was all around, the PERFECT gift in every respect--it totally hit the spot!! :-) THANKS, H&D--you NEVER disappoint!!"

"I was at my mother's when the box arrived I was excited to think I was going to be able to share in these creamy delights. They were packaged well. However they looked had been bounced around and were "hard". Mom was afraid to bite into them so I cut whatever she wanted in half. The outer shells were very hard. Won't be ordering those on line again."
