"The cake arrived slanted, probably due to the mailman standing it on end, instead of "this end up". The cake was very moist and decorative, but extremely rich! I always considered myself a avid fan of dark chocolate until trying this cake. It was just too overpowering and too sweet. It might be okay served in very thin slices with a strong coffee to balance the richness."

"I ordered this cake for my mom's birthday - she is a huge chocolate lover, and we were not disappointed! The cake arrived exactly as promised and in perfect shape. It was moist, delicious, and very chocolatey! Everyone raved how delicious it was. My only comment would be on the size - it was a little smaller than what I expected for the price. By giving everyone slivers, I was able to feed 12 people. However, I think this is a better option for 4-6 people rather than a party because you will definetly want seconds!!"

"I purchased this as a birthday cake for my mom, who is an absolute chocoholic and LOVES H&D truffles. While she thought the cake was good, she was extremely dissapointed with the "mousse" filling. It tasted more like cake frosting than the light, fluffy, melt-in-your-mouth consistency that mousse should be."
