"I was initially excited when I read the description for this product. When I received it and tried it, I was sorely disappointed. I am a chocolate LOVER, and I could not bear the taste of this cake. It is waxy-tasting and definitely does not taste freshly made. The aftertaste is horrible. I was saddened by both taste and appearance...it looked old and rather dry. I ate one piece and vowed no more. Let me assure you, that never happens with me and chocolate. I am so relieved that I did not send this as a gift to anyone else, as I would have been deeply embarassed by the awful taste."

"I do love chocolate, but found this to be more chocolate than cake. Definitely best served in small slices. May I suggest you try it heated with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Be prepared for a deep chocolate flavor!"
