"We were disaapointed with the organic pears. Only about 1/2 of the box has been good. The other 1/2 have been mealy and bitter. The good ones were not as fragrant or as flavorful as pears that we have ordered in past years."

"Almost always this is an excellent gift and I recommend it highly. You can never buy a pear like this anywhere else.
However, the recipient of these pears said that although they were juicy and tasty. They were not as good as the pears they had gotten in the past.
The skin was tough and the pears looked bruised. They didn't have the usual picture perfect look."

"Without a doubt these are the best pears in the world. That's a wild statement to make, but try them and you'll find it hard to stop at eating just one, Not only is the taste outstanding, but I've never tasted a fruit of any kind that is as juicy as these pears are. We got a box as a gift and quickly ordered two more just to enjoy each morning for breakfest. A great way to start the day."
