"My family loved the dark fudge but didn't care for the popcorn in it. We preferred walnuts because the popcorn becomes soggy and hard to chew in fudge.

Please consider walnuts and ditch the popcorn. It's still a very good recipe though.

The other improvement might be in packaging. It had all the trappings of being old and dried out fudge... it does not have the smoothness of homemade fudge."
