"I had purchsed the Rose Pitcher with Gourmet Truffles and Treats Gift for my grandmother in NY. I am in NC and never did get to see it until now. My aunt sent me a photo of the flowers along with the other stuff she had gotten and I was shocked. It looked like there were maybe 4 or 5 buds on the roses, they were not bloomed and they were all smushed to one side. My aunt must not have had the heart to tell me they didn't look good. All she said was that grandma enjoyed the candies. Now I know why. They didn't come close to looking like the photo in the catalogue."

Miniture roses in pitcher, April 26, 2009

"What a waste. I bought this as a valentines gift for my wife. It looked nice for a few days then the live rose bush died. The roses never bloomed. We did everything it said to do for the roses but they died so fast. So much for planting it. Stay away."

Excellent Gift Idea, April 25, 2009

"I sent this to myself during the Christmas season because I wanted something different during the winter. The rosebush was so perfect it looked almost artificial except you could smell the rose scent. The pitcher is cute and can be used over and over again. The truffles of course were mouth-watering. This was such a great gift I will send it to others next season."

"Candy was excellent, but roses were half dead when arrived. They never did survive or have flowers. Chip in vase at top. Too embarrassed to give as gift as planned. Ate candy and threw plant in garbage"
