What are you talking about?
Your review served as a good overview of Harry and David's Gift Giving Division. However, I'm not sure if that is what you really meant to tell us, since your review appeared in the Bartlett Pears section.
On the other hand, it doesn't seem to me that you're reviewing Bartlett Pears, even though that's where your review appeared. Not only did you omit any mention of any kind of fruit. you used language not really appropriate for a specific review of pears. (The gifts...always...arrive on time. The receivers always...appreciate the gifts....) Again, the language seems more appropriate to a review of Harry and David's Gift Giving Division than a review of pears.
That's too bad.

"I don't care for pears, I like apples and oranges better UNTIL I received two pears in a gift box from my sister. She told me NOT to eat the pears for a week and NOT to refridge them. I put one on the window sill and the other in a brown bag. Couple days later I ate the pear in the bag. ALLSOME!! SWEET an JUICY. I now order them for myself, 9 at a time. I can go on and on about these pears but I going to order more"

"When I was a child we had pears from the farmer & they were very good. Now I can't find a pear that is worth eating. Until, a friend rec'd. a box for Christmas (2009) and gave us two to eat. THEY WERE THE "BEST" EVER. JUCIY & SWEET. I don't know how they where so bad from other writers & why they did not send them back. I've ordered more, & have the same results as my first time. I can assure you, I certainly would have sent them back for A refund or more pears. I ordered thing from other companies & if I wasn't satisfied I'd send it back for the purchase price or a replacement. Only "IF"/when the company gave me a hard time would I give a bad review."

"I was very disappointed with the Pears I bought for my Mom's 82nd B-day. We waited 4-5 days to eat them so they could ripen according to directions, and they had absolutely no juice. In fact, they were dry."

"I'm also disappointed with my purchase of Golden Pears. They arrived quite underripe. Were they supposed to be so green? I waited one to two weeks for them to ripen and become sweet and soft. Sent a gift tower to my godmother for Mother's Day. Raved about the pears (which were Royal Riviera). I'll order again for Father's Day, but I'll stick to the Royal Riviera Pears. Very sweet, ripe. Better than the grocery store. Will try other fruits as well."

"I have ordered these pears before and they were like something from the Garden of Eden. However I ordered some recently and I thought someone had gone to the grocery store and mailed them to me. They looked and tasted just like grocery store pears, possibly worse. They were not worth the price. They did not look anything like the lovely picture on the web site and in the catalog. I sent some to my mother also for mother's day and feel so embarrassed. I wish I had gotten something nicer for her such as a gift certificate to a restaurant. These were some seriously tired pears. Pitiful little things. Crunchy, not juicy, they were a real downer."
